Shared access is the ability to grant access to other users like your friends, family neighbors, or co-workers.
Shared Access via Bluetooth (this is the tab marked "Shared" in your Tapplock account) can be granted remotely to anyone with a Tapplock account. You do not need to be in the same room, city, or country as the lock or user to grant access! You can choose to grant one-time, temporary, or permanent access:
- One-time access allows the user 10 minutes of access to the lock. At the end of ten minutes, the access will be revoked.
- Temporary access allows the user a set amount of time for access for the user. As the owner, you can select the start and end dates you wish to allow the user access. Once the chosen end date comes, the access will be revoked.
- Permanent access allows the user permanent access to the lock. The access will continue until you, as the owner, revokes the access.
